Meet Trisha
Womb keeper. Wild mama. Birth keeper. Sister in the sacred.
Hey, I’m Trisha Phillips. I’m a wife, homeschooling mama of 7, birth keeper, postpartum guide, and founder of The Womb Connection. I support women from first bleed through last breath holding space for every season of the womb—bleeding, birthing, becoming, and dying in all the ways.
I'm a born-and-raised Kentuckian with a wandering, adventurous soul. Our family recently landed on our dream farm in Falmouth, KY where we’re raising our children, running barefoot, and slowly building the homestead and community space we've always envisioned.
Nature is a huge part of who I am.
The seasons, the soil, the moon cycles, the way plants grow wild and unapologetically, the provision they bring without us even having to ask…those are the rhythms I live by. That love of the earth, of slowness and instinct, shows up in every part of my work. I bring that same grounded energy into the way I support women: with trust, reverence, and deep presence.
My journey into birth began young, at just 13, I witnessed my first unmedicated hospital birth, and something in me lit up. Over the years, I found myself showing up to more and more births for friends, even before I knew the word “doula.” Then my own birth journeys began…
I've experienced a full range of birth:
A planned cesarean for a breech baby (which I’d 100% do differently today)
A second cesarean after a misdiagnosed clotting disorder labeled me “high risk”
A VBA2C in the hospital without meds
Two deeply supported home births
And most recently, an undisturbed free birth
These experiences as well as just living life in a female body myself, have all played a part in birthing this work.
As a family, we’ve walked through big transitions, medical diagnoses (including our son’s cerebral palsy), and a complete shift into holistic living. That path cracked me wide open. It taught me how sacred and impactful birth is, not just in the moment, but for the rest of your life.
That’s why I created The Womb Connection.
This isn’t about birth plans and diaper counts.
This is about being witnessed.
Held.
Honored.
Supported in your intuition.
And reminded that you already know.
I support the women doing the hard, holy work of trusting their gut over the noise in all the situations and phases of our human existence.
If that’s you, welcome, sister.
There’s a seat here for you.
And I’d be honored to walk beside you.
